Heart + Humanities Hub exists
to protect and expand access to the arts and humanities in Clatsop County by supporting artists, safeguarding creative spaces, and fostering inclusive cultural programing rooted in community participation.
We believe creativity should be part of everyday community life, not something reserved for those with time, money or connections to access it.
Why it matters
The arts and humanities help us understand where we come from, imagine where we are going and connect with each other along the way.
Artists help us see familiar places in new ways. Creative spaces give people room to gather, experiment and belong. The humanities help us ask better questions about ourselves, our histories, and the community we share. In Clatsop County we have a rich creative culture worth nurturing and protecting. We are here to make sure that culture remains accessible, participatory, and rooted in the people who call this place home.
